Hugh Jackman's Foot and Handprints Taken in Cement at Grauman's
HUGH Jackman has truly made his mark on Hollywood history, with his hand and footprints recorded in cement today.
The Australian star of X-Men Origins: Wolverine has been honoured at a ceremony outside Hollywood Boulevard's historic Grauman's Chinese Theatre.
Jackman's prints sit alongside the legends of Hollywood including Marilyn Monroe, John Wayne, Frank Sinatra, Clark Gable, Bing Crosby, Doris Day and Humphrey Bogart.
He told the watching crowd: "I have to tell you, this particular block of real estate has brought me two moments in my life I thought would never ever happen.
"Hosting the Oscars and now here today. It means the world to me to be here."
Grauman's Chinese Theatre is located next to the Kodak Theatre, the home of the annual Oscars ceremony.
Sydney-born Jackman, 41, hosted February's Oscars and was so well received that he's expected to be asked to perform the job again next year.
In X-Men Origins: Wolverine Jackman plays a clawed mutant seeking revenge against his brother, Victor Creed.
