What's wrong with the beach at home LeBron?
You'd think LeBron James wouldn't need more turquoise water and white sand, but this weekend the famous basketball player left his new home of Miami Beach for the warm waves of the Bahamas.
The star athlete, 25, was spotted frolicking in the surf with his long-time girlfriend and high school sweetheart, Savannah Brinson, 23.
Home away from home: Despite moving to Miami, Lebron James headed to another beach in the Bahamas this weekend with girlfriend Savannah Brinson
King James, as he has proclaimed himself, caused widespread public outrage by defecting from his home town team, the Cleveland Cavaliers to the Miami Heat earlier this month. The move could have something to do with the fact the he's expected to earn $100million in wages alone.
Fans were so furious with the player that fans burnt replicas of LeBron's No. 23 Cleveland Cavaliers shirt and hurled rocks at a 10-storey billboard featuring the star after he announced his decision on national TV.
In downtown Cleveland, police were forced to carry out extra patrols to deal with crowds of disappointed supporters.
The day after his revelation, LeBron was booed as he arrived at the wedding of NBA player Carmelo Anthony, 26 and MTV host Lala Vasquez, 30.

But this weekend, the 6ft 8 star player didn't seem to care about any of that. LeBron showed off his fine-tuned physique while jogging on the beach.
He also enjoyed a stroll on the sand with Savannah, with whom he has two children, LeBron James Jr., five, and Bryce Maximus James, aged three.
The family are certainly set to live in glamorous style in the Miami area. LeBron is allegedly buying a $49.5 million estate in Florida, which is known as 'the sunshine state.'
Of the 20,088 square foot mansion, an insider told Life & Style magazine: 'LeBron showed a lot of interest in the house. I think it's a slam-dunk the house is his.'
The source adds: 'The property was taken off the market within hours of LeBron announcing his move to Miami. It's no coincidence.'
Judging by the pictures, LeBron and Savannah are excited about beach life - there's plenty more where that came from!
