Ashton Kutcher Rules as Highest-Paid Actor on Television

Ashton Kutcher, on his own, is worth way more than your average two and a half men put together.

The 33-year-old actor-producer-investor and his $24 million tops Forbes' latest list of the highest-paid actors on TV over the last 12 months. And you get one guess as to who Kutcher displaced as No. 1.

That's right, former Two and a Half Men star Charlie Sheen, who was the biggest money-maker pre-meltdown with $40 million but fell off the list entirely this year.

Despite his absence from prime-time this year (yeah, we're still not over it, either), Hugh Laurie comes in second on the list with $18 million, the British thesp obviously having collected a pretty penny for the final season of House.

Men of a Certain Age was canceled, but Ray Romano's Everybody Loves Raymond is still pretty ubiquitous via syndication, resulting in an $18 million payday for its star and coexecutive producer.

Tied for third place are 30 Rock standout Alec Baldwin and Mark Harmon, whose NCIS is frequently the most-watched scripted show on TV, with $15 million.

Last Man Standing didn't make any critic's list of favorites last season but it did help Tim Allen secure fourth place with $14 million. And Jon Cryer, who just won his first lead-role Emmy for Two and a Half Men, rounds out the top five with $13 million.

Ashton Kutcher goes skydiving and tracks down a koala... all within 24 hours of arriving in Oz

Daredevil Ashton Kutcher went skydiving today - just a few hours after landing in Sydney following a grueling 14-hour flight.

In the same day he also posed with a koala and uploaded the picture on Twitter after trying to hit the ground running to avoid getting jet-lagged.

He wrote on his webpage, ‘I think I'm gonna jump out of a plane’ and joked, ‘Don't tell Mrs Kutcher’ before taking to the skies for the tandem jump.

His wife Demi Moore has remained at their home in the U.S.

Mr Kutcher, 32, who is Down Under to promote his new movie, Killers, Tweeted a pic of himself on the ground in a red jumpsuit.

He also posted a pic of his certificate to show he had completed the jump and wrote as an update: ‘Back on earth. That was fun.’

He even Tweeted a fan, Kendi555, ‘best jetlag medicine ever is jumping out of a plane.’

Mr Kutcher’s love-affair with Twitter is almost as famous as his his five-year-old marriage to Miss Moore, who is 15 years his senior.

Very often he gets to mix both loves and Tweet about his 47-year-old wife.

Earlier this week he posted a picture of Miss Moore firing a machine gun at a gun range, with the message:' This is why we don't mess with Mrs Kutcher'.

He’s even happy to admit his mishaps on the website.

A day before jetting to Sydney, he crashed his car in Los Angeles – and instantly Tweeted pictures of the crumpled Lexus.
